Originally built in 1941 at Camp Claiborne, the chapel that now houses The Wilyard was moved to Lafayette in 1947.
It became Davidson Memorial Methodist Church, and later House of Faith Church, serving as a place of worship and community gatherings for generations.
For decades, the chapel hosted countless meaningful moments, including weddings, celebrations, and gatherings.
After its doors closed in 2022, the building remained unused until its thoughtful restoration.
Today, The Wilyard preserves the original character of the chapel while transforming it into a modern wedding and event venue.
